Requirements: Three (3) years relevant tertiary qualification in Security/Risk Management. One (1) year

functional experience in the Security Services. (PSIRA). Knowledge: Promotion of Access to Information Act, Access to Public Premises and Vehicle Act, Knowledge of Physical security, Personnel and Document Security, Communication Security, IT Security, Security investigation.

DUTIES: Monitor access control within designated buildings, Implement Physical Security Plan, Implement Information and Personnel Security Plan. Manage contingency plan. Supervise security staff.

The incumbent will be based in Denver, Johannesburg.

 

Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Answering all incoming calls as per standard operating procedures.
  • Handling enquiries via telephone, fax or e-mail.
  • Processing of telephonic orders.
  • Processing of quotations.
  • Following up on orders, both domestic and foreign.
  • Liaising with other departments.
  • Perform general administration duties.
  • Relieving the Switchboard when necessary.
  • Ensure required service level targets as stipulated in KPA are met or exceeded.

 

Requirements/Experience:

  • Grade 12
  • A minimum of two to three years’ experience in a customer services environment.
  • Bilingual.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good listening skills.
  • The ability to foster good relations with customers.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Computer literacy is an essential requirement.
  • Previous experience in Book master would also be advantageous.

This may include: in-store marketing, competitor shopping. Drive credit, Insurance , Mobile and Cellular performance to achieve the agreed budget. Risk Management: Assist the store manager to conduct compliance checks through defined processes (e.g. admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO reports, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security etc.) to ensure and enforce overall compliance to policies and procedures. Customer Experience Management: Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes (through the execution of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback, general housekeeping etc.) to meet customer service standards. Leadership & Development: Lead and drive the team within a store to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in line with company values. Identify & drive training, coaching and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.

  • Recruit, administer & manage performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
