Purpose of the Job:

To sell and promote Heineken Beverages’ Brand portfolio by creating brand awareness and building brands in line with strategic objectives. Area include Ceres, Tulbagh, Wolseley and Worcester.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets through new business and upselling current customers.
  • Use data to inform customers’ understanding of which products can help them reach their goals and how to achieve this.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
  • Present products to customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Conducting market research to keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand image.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other members of the sales and marketing team.
  • Drive and maintain Accessibility, Affordability, Availability and Activation
  • Run price driven promotions.
  • Maintain call strike rate in accordance with targets.
  • Share and implement new ideas regarding sales and improving effectiveness of the sales teams and/ or the effectiveness of

marketing activities.

  • Take responsibility for personal improvement and skills development.
  • Follow Heineken Beverages’ policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Relevant industry training and certifications are an

advantage.

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Relevant experience within the Alcoholic Beverage or broader FMCG industry would be preferable.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Numerical and business acumen experience
  • High levels of energy, persistence, drive as well as a sense of urgency.
  • The ability to work optimally in a high performance and competitive environment.
  • Ability to plan realistically and take action to deliver on time.
  • Excellent negotiating skills to gain commitment to solutions by using your influencing and networking skills.

The main purpose of this position is
 to provide delivery of goods and services in line with customer needs and assist with receiving, picking, packing and dispatching of parts.


Reporting:
 This position reports to the Parts Controller.


Job Objectives:

Qualification & Job Experience:

  • Drivers licence – code 8.

Are you someone who can:
  • Participates in design of call monitoring mechanisms and quality standards.
  • Performs call monitoring and FAIS Supervision on sales and non-sales and provides trend data to Contact centre management team.
  • Uses quality monitoring tools and techniques to compile and track performance at team and individual level.
  • Participates in customer and client listening programs to identify customer needs and expectations.
  • Provides support and data to various internal stakeholders as requested.
  • Provides feedback to Contact centre agent’s and representatives’ team leaders and managers.
  • Together with the Supervisor identify gaps and implement training initiatives to close these gaps.
  • Inform management of serious transgressions that requires immediate attention.
  • Work with the Team Leader to ensure that the quality goal score for call audits sits above 85%.
  • Maintain and update QA records for all staff and provide information as required to Team Leaders and Contact Centre Management Staff.
  • Do regular performance measurement and coaching sessions with individual team members and supervisors (where required)
  • Ad-hoc calibration sessions
  • Submission of monthly reports by deadline
  • Filing of signed monthly audits
  • Send monthly audits to team and team leader
  • Loading of audits, audit report, FAIS Supervision and reports, coaching registers and all QA requests on shared folder
  • Refresher training on a monthly basis
  • Product Specific Training as and when required.
  • Listen to and transcribe voice recording queries, log on query register
  • Any other reasonable requests from Contact Centre Management Staff

  • Matric, RE and FAIS qualification
  • Must have Insurance background
  • Must have minimum of 1 year Quality assurance/analyst experience

Job Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
  • Address any concerns relating to the queue flow or digital devices.
  • Assist client to download online applications and resolve any log in issues.
  • Assist the client to buy value-added services (e.g. pre-paid data and airtime) online or through a self-service device.
  • Assist the client to obtain statements, cards and other relevant documentation from self-service zones.
  • Build and maintain client relationships by keeping clients informed of progress or action taken regarding their applications, queries and requests.
  • Discover client’s service and digital needs through connecting, understanding and delivering financial solutions with care.
  • Educate clients and potential clients on how to subscribe and service their account.
  • Educate clients on self-service, digital functionality and features.
  • Facilitate a conversation with the client to assist them to complete their service needs online.
  • Identify quality sales leads and enable cross-selling (without advising) through client engagement, fulfilling, making suggestions, referring to the relevant department for action and by capturing it on the client management system.

  • Execute on cash management (i.e. Treasury and holdings), cash efficiency and recycling strategies within the store.
  • Load cash, balance and provide first line device maintenance and replenishment of consumables of all store devices.
  • Minimize losses and ensure corrective action is taken by declaring any discrepancies in cash holdings.
  • Process client deposits, withdrawal, change for change and transfer requests by following relevant procedure and policies.
  • Process client forex requests by following the relevant procedures and policies (e.g. FBN, bills and transfers).
Risk and Compliance:
  • Mitigate risk by controlling counter and drop safe limits according to policy.
  • Prevent fraud and losses by adhering to mandates, as well as client and transaction authentication procedures and policies.
